I am said to hear that John passed away. He was such a great person. I knew him from working at Beaver Trust Rochester Office. He also knew my sister who owns Brighton Glass. He was a fair man and a person that would listen when the banks were getting bought out and to big. He always knew me and called me by name anytime I came to the Beaver office for a meeting. He will be missed. Debbie Martoia

Name: Debra McCandless
Relation: Proud Daughter in Law
To Donna & all who had the privilage of knowing John R. McCandless Jr., Being a part of John's family was a great blessing. It was an honor to be John's Daughter in Law. I will never forget his unconditional love & kindness. I am so thankful for the beautiful gift that my son Eric II was given in his Pap McCandless. There is no way to measure the impact of his life & his death. Though he will be sadly missed, his life challenges us all to love, to serve & to live a faithful life. John was a "rock" that so many could turn to & depend on in times of need or just for a smile. I know that his light will continue to shine - I am blessed to have two peices of that "rock" to share the rest of my life with. Sincerely, Debra L.McCandless

Relation: Proud Son
For my Dad, I knew that I had a great Dad, but fortunately I had the opportunity over the past 6 months to spend extra time with him & also talked with many wonderful friends, family & business associates at his funeral. I realize even more what an awesome person he truely was. I am so blessed to even know someone like him, let alone having the privilage of calling him "Dad". I love you Dad & more than ever, I want to follow in your footsteps. Your loving Son, Eric
