Sal was like a second father. He and my own father Dragutin, were very close friends, and as far back as I can remember he was there in my life. Sal's greatest quality was his optimism, and his contagious laugh. He had a beautiful smile, and his eyes twinkled. He was a faithful husband, father, and grandparent. A role model to being a man. Sal drew people together, especially at Christmas, when his home was always overflowing with friends, relatives, and loved ones. He was gifted with working with his hands, especially when working in the medium of wood. He could build the most beautiful furniture and objects. He loved the outdoors, and was very active in sportmanship. Hunting game and fishing were his truest passions, which was the connection he made with my father. As a young boy, I remember him coming over to the house to 'borrow' my father's hunting beagle 'Bright Eyes', and I still hear his voice echoing a call to "Brightee". He loved dogs in general, and had his own...and they were always friendly, which spoke of their owner's character. Sal was mellow and relaxed too. He went through life without showing the stress which i'm sure like all of us, he had to endure. Sal was a beautiful soul, who shined as the kind of person we would all like to be. In our final conversations, he reflected on my father, whom he was always amused by. They shared some very good times together. And Sal would often chuckle at the thought of my preference for hamburgers over more exotic meat. He'd say 'we're roasting a pig, come on over...and we'll cook you a hamburger.' And the laugh that followed that sentence would be something you would never forget! He was infectious. But it was the essence of this man that can't really be put into a word, a thousand words, or ten thousand. Salvadore Boyle, God Bless You and may he welcome you now to live forever with our Lord Jesus Christ. Rest in Peace dear good and faithful servant!

Name: Danny Stojanovich
Relation: Family Friend
Dear Boyle Family, I am heartbroken these days and previous weeks. Sal was always there. He was a big part of my family in a very special way. We spent all holidays and many other occasions together as families. All of the outdoors hunting and fishing activities we shared were unforgettable. Sal worked in the mill with my father, and he gave the most important thing a person can give of themselves which is true friendship, loving your neighbor as yourself type of friendship. I spoke with my father after Sal’s passing and I know he feels that a part of his own self is gone now with the passing of Sal. These two men, these strong men have always been the leaders of our households, but now Sal is gone. So we remain to carry on, and to keep the memory of our beloved Sal. A man who I will never forget, I still hear his voice and his laugh. Thank you Sal for your friendship and love. Dear Annette, I send you my condolences and sorrow in your loss. Dear Shawn and Mellissa, I also send my heartfelt tears since I can’t be there with you. Also James, Terry, and George with your families, I loved Sal, and I want you to know how much the Stojanovich family loved him. So I hope that you believe, as I believe, in the Resurrected Jesus Christ our God, who has overcome death, and has overcome all things of this world. May he give rest to the soul of Salvadore Boyle where there is neither sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life ever-lasting.
