Dalph H. Knepp, Sr. of SOUTH BEAVER TOWNSHIP
07/18/1922 - 03/15/2010Dalph H. Knepp, Sr., 87, of South Beaver Township, passed away March 15, 2010 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Beaver Township.
Born July 18, 1922 in New Galilee, PA, he was a son of the late Frederick Howard and Alverta Fry Knepp. Formerly a resident of Chippewa Township, he retired from Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Division, East Works, as a shipping leader and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. He was an active resident including having served as president of the resident council at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Helen Margaret Zahn Knepp, in 2003, whom he married in 1946. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Lee F. Knepp, in 2000.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dalph H. Jr. and Doris Knepp of Zephyrhills, FL and Phillip A. and Rose Knepp of Darlington, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Gary Kimmel of South Beaver Township, and Beverly and Dave Price of Darlington, PA; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where Reverend Dennis Burnett will conduct a service Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. We are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Mike and I enjoied seeing him when Mike would sing at the nursing center. He was a joy to watch as Mike sang. He will be greatly missed. Sorry we can't pay our condolences in person as we are still in Clermont FL. The family will be in our prayers.
