Norma Lorraine Russell, 93 of Calcutta, formerly of Midland passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at Calcutta Health Care Center with her family at her side. Born April 3, 1916 in Smiths Ferry, she was a daughter of the late George and Alice Reed Althar. Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul W. Russell in 1988, a son, Ken Russell in 1985, 2 sisters, Alice and Doris, and a brother, John. Surviving are two sons, Jack (Marjorie) Russell, Meadville, PA, and Joe Russell of Industry. Her family of 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren will also sadly miss her. Friends will be received Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.
