Gladys R. (Reidenbach) Brubaker of BEAVER
06/29/1918 - 03/30/2010Gladys R. (Reidenbach) Brubaker, of Beaver, passed away at Heritage Valley Beaver, with her family at her side March 30, 2010. Born June 29, 1918, in Lancaster County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Abner and Anna (Rohrer) Reidenbach.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends, playing the organ, bowling, fishing, needlework and bingo, was a lifetime member of the Rochester Turners and attended Vanport Presbyterian Church.
The wife of the late Paul R. Brubaker who passed away November 3, 1992, she was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother of five, Janet M. Queen of Glassboro NJ, June L. Eckelberger of Beaver, Donald P. Brubaker and wife Donna of Highland, CA, G. Marie Davis and husband David of New Castle, and Jay R. Brubaker and wife Donna of Hubbard Lake, MI. She is survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandson, a brother, Harvey R. Reidenbach of Ephrata PA, a sister, Elsie R. Keller, and sister-in-law, Evelyn Reidenbach, both of Lancaster, PA, and fourteen nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, besides her husband, were five brothers, three sisters and a grandson.
Friends will be received Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. at the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. Private interment will take place Monday. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
