Phyllis N. (Aukscunas) Ondra, 85, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at AnMed Health Medical Center, in Anderson, SC. Born in Coverdale, PA, she was a daughter of the late Enick and Anna (Labadis) Aukscunas. She retired from The Medical Center, Beaver, and was a member of Saint Blaise Catholic Church in Midland, PA. She was a member of CD of A, was an avid Steelers fan, and was beloved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen A. and Charles Gahagan, of Townville, SC; a son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Jackie Ondra, of Charleston, WV; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth "Lee" and Samuel Fife, of Beaver, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Agnes Aukscunas, of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Melissa and Brian Beagle, Erin and David Perryman, Michael Gahagan, William and Amanda Ondra, Kevin Ondra and Stacy John, and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHWERHA-NOLL FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. by Father Michael Yaksik, at the St. Blaise Church. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry, PA.
