Bert was an amazing guy, I remember one of the first times I met Mr Boyd, when he was layed up with fused bones in his back (back in the 60's) and later in life to see him golfing with Marie, bowling and playing racketball was inspiring.
To the Boyd family, Keep Bert's memory alive. Even in his passing he was a strong person and loved you all very much. He always had a zest for life and he passed that to all of you. When you think of him don't be sad, just thing of all his smiles. . . . He lives within you!
Respectfully,
Don Hinzman

We remember Bert in many ways....the old New Brighton connection...Curt was a classmate of Marie's sister Betty at NBHS...and I had the pleasure of socializing with Bert and Marie when I coached Ron and Bob in track in the late 60's at BASH. Our daughter later was a babysitter for Ron's children....how fast the years have gone by......
Our sincerest condolences to Marie and all the Boys, their wives and grandchildren. We know you'll all miss grandpap a bunch.

Hi Pap!! The hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life was watch my Grandmother lose her best friend. I was a lucky girl growing up. Not many people can say they are 32 and just lost there first grandparent. I was lucky to have you in my life, I am lucky that you got to meet my babies. I was lucky to have a grandfather like you! I miss you more and more every day. We will keep watch over Gram for you! I know when it's time for my little girl to go to heaven, she'll have her pappy to watch over her. RIP PAP!! Etrade says HI! Love you with all my heart!!
