I was saddened to hear of Uncle Tom's passing. We are also sorry that we cannot be there to support the family at this time. Everyone is in our prayers, and we do hope to visit with you the next time we are up from Texas. I enjoyed the many visits we had as I was growing up when Pap would load everyone up in the old car and head off "to visit Tom". I still remember the time he shared some of his WWII stories with me. Pap said he hadn't even heard those. Although we have been away for some time, and the visits had been reduced to special occasions such as weddings, he will still be missed. All our love. The Burchetts (John, Amy, John Jr., Sarah, Bridie, and James).

Iam sorry to here that Uncle Tom was so ill. Aunt Bea he is in glory land now in the comfort of our father who are't in heaven. We are only here for a short while. We become selfish of our loved ones and dont want to let go. But they don't belong to us , they always belonged to our father. I remember when I was a little girl and stayed at your house . I was treated like I was one of your owne children. Thank you. Uncle Tom had such a soft voice and walked so quiet. He had such a gentle spirit. He will be missed. Iam here in Texas. I talked to mom. She will be at the funeral. Again I am sorry. Love you Auntie Bea ! Franny
