Patricia A. Bertovich of Industry, PA
08/05/1936 - 07/04/2010Patricia A. Bertovich, 73 of Industry passed away Sunday evening, July 4, 2010 at UPMC, Shadyside following a brief illness.
Born August 5, 1936 in Youngstown, OH, she was a daughter of the late Peter & Margaret Grisa Backert and had been a resident of Industry since 1979. She was a member of the St. Blaise Parish family, Midland.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Fred Helsel in 1976 and her second husband, Martin Bertovich in 1999.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Ginger Helsel, Ambridge, a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia & Mark Platz, Ohioville and 5 cherished grandchildren, Megan & Marcus Platz, and Dana, Krista, and Tarah Helsel.
Friends will be received Thursday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon in the Schwerha-Noll, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 pm on Thursday at the St. Blaise Church by her pastor, Father Michael Yaksick. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.
