James A. Miller, Jr. of Brighton Township

James A. Miller, Jr. 71, of Brighton Township, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 9, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his family and the love they had for him. Born August 9, 1938, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Gertrude E. (Pander) and James A. Miller. Sr. He was employed by P. Ferguson Transportation. Other previous employment was the Beaver County Times, Beaver County Public Works and Teledyn Vasco Colonial Steel Monaca, for 35 years. He was a 1957 graduate of Monaca High School, an outstanding football player for Monaca, Beaver County All-Stars and Geneva College. With his love of football, he was head coach of the Brighton Township midget league for over 25 years. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Margaret E. (Soisson) Miller; three daughters, Joye E. Culleiton, Mars, Judith I. Lemasters, New Castle, and Susan E. (Dana) Bowden, Maine; a son, James A. (Andrea) Miller III, Worthington; fourteen grandchildren, Ruben Suarez, Markie Culleiton Byerly, Jason Suarez, Korie Culleiton, Robert Suarez, Susie Goosby Miller, Alessandro Armbrust, Brandi Lemasters, Dante Armbrust, Joseph Miller, Terry Miller, Adam Bowden, Amanda Bowden, Charles "B.J." Lemasters; three great-grandchildren, LeeAnn, Noah and Maddison Bowden; two brothers, Donald W. Miller, W. Aliquippa, and Kerry W. "Spike" Miller, New Brighton, and a sister, Glenda K (Raymond) Beringer, Economy Boro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son-in-law, Charles "Buddy" Lemasters . Thank you to the hospice staff of Forbes Hopewell Valley Unit. At James request, there will be no visitation or public service.
