Jessica A. Young Reeder of BEAVER
04/02/1964 - 07/11/2010Jessica A. Young Reeder, 46, of Beaver, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 11, 2010 at her home.
Born April 2, 1964, in Sewickley, she was a daughter of Katherine "Katie" Young of Brighton Township and Thomas O. and Toni Young of Hanover Township. Jessica had been a resident of Brighton Township and Beaver all of her life and had earned her associate degree from Penn State University. She was active in her community through her volunteering, most especially with her son's activities such as his school and P.T.A., scouting and swimming activities.
Besides her parents, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 11 years, Roderick K. Reeder; her cherished son, Kyle R. Reeder; a brother, Michael and his wife Angela Young, Brighton Township; her husband's parents, Sandra Gruber of Pittsburgh and Thomas and Charlene Reeder of Chippewa Township; her family, her husband's family, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. A private funeral and graveside services at the Beaver Cemetery will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

Jessica and I have been friends for at least 30 years. We played cards together every Friday night, and she often spoke lovingly about her family and friends. She really enjoyed spending time with her mother, and often reminisced about their recent trip to Las Vegas, as well as their Saturday morning yard sale excursions. She talked about her father, and all the hockey games he took her to as a child. She often spoke about her husband Rod, always with a mixture of pride and adoration. And she always enjoyed talking about Kyle - his latest activities, his achievements, and his plans for the future. Jessica really enjoyed her life, her family, and her friends. I will miss her.

Jessica's smile and laugh affected everyone she came into contact with. She would always make you laugh along. Her outfits at Halloween were always the best and she did everything with Kyle in mind. She was the type of mother, wife, daughter and friend we would all try to emulate. I miss the yardsales, trick-or-treating and just her shoulder to lean on. My prayers are with Kyle, Rod, Katie, her family, poker buddies and friends everywhere. I love and miss you Jess.
