Daniel Cronin of OHIOVILLE
09/23/1952 - 07/11/2010Daniel Cronin, 57, of Ohioville, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Kindred Hospital, Heritage Valley, Beaver, with his family at his side.
Born September 23, 1952, in Rochester, PA, he was a son of Julia Yasnich Cronin, Ohioville, and the late William Carl Cronin. He had been a resident of Ohioville most of his life and formerly worked at Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland.
Surviving, besides his mother, are his two sons, Daniel (Krysti) Cronin II of Hopewell Township and David (Angela) Cronin of Calcutta, Ohio, and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death, besides his father, were two brothers, Stanley "Butch" and William "Chip" II Cronin.
Friends will be received at the SCHWERHA-NOLL FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland, on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. The service will be conducted by Father Milan Pajic. Private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.

Dan, Kim Kaiser and I were regulars at the Rochester Legion when we were all in HS. We had lots of fun dancing, joking, etc. They are some of my favorite memories.
In 1990, when I was back in town for my HS Reunion, I ran into Dan and we chatted for some time.
I will miss him terribly and am sorry now that I won't be able to talk with him when I come back 'to the valley'.

I was a friend of Dan, as member of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Midland and the Serbian Junior Tamburitza group. Danny and I often sat togehter during rehearsals, and stayed friends throughout our high school days. I left Midland many years ago but whenever I came back we always enjoyed seeing each other. As Serbians say, "vecnaja pamjat - may his memory be eternal."
