Cornelia L. O'Connor of BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP
11/21/1937 - 07/24/2010Cornelia L. O'Connor, 72, of Brighton Township, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, at her home with her daughter at her side.
Born November 21, 1937, in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late Jake and Frances Vaughan Beard, and had been a resident of Brighton Township for over 50 years. She had retired as a medical technologist at the former Aliquippa Hospital after 30 years and had been a member of the Four Mile Presbyterian Church, Ohioville.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas O'Connor, and a daughter, Susan O'Connor in 2007.
Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen Rea, with whom she resided; a sister-in-law, Jean Challis, Brighton Township; three grandchildren, Cheryl (Hans) Nurge and their two children, Talen and Alia, Richland Hills, TX, Matthew McDaniel, Brighton Township, and T.J. Roberson, North Richland Hills, TX; three nephews and a niece.
Friends will be received Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, PA, where a service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by the Reverend George Atkins, associate pastor of Four Mile Presbyterian Church. Private interment will take place at the Beaver Cemetery.
