Barbara & family,
I am so sorry for your loss. We also feel your pain and the loss of a wonderful person. George has always been a very special and dear friend who will be greatly missed. I know he's in heaven among the beautiful angels smiling down upon his loved ones. George has always loved Barbara, with all his heart and soul. He has been a proud father who loves his sons, Mark, Michael, and Matthew, so deeply and unconditionally, a very protecting father to his lovely daughter, Nicol. He has been a very caring brother, of his sisters, Linda and Carol. A very proud grandfather of his beautiful grandchildren, Clayton, Lucy, Madelyn, and Liam. George has always had a special bond and love for his Aunt Helen. One of George's best friends and dedicated companion, his dog, Ruby, recieved a special place in his heart. George is your guardian angel watching over you, until you meet again.
Barbara, George loves you with all of his heart. He will be patiently waiting for you at heaven's golden gates. I know how devastating this is for you and how much it's breaking your heart. Please think about all the wonderful days that you have shared, the beautiful things George has given and done, the fabulous man that he has been. Remember when you are feeling sad and all alone, to feel deeply within your heart and you will recognize the warmth, the touch, the love and presence of George. He is not gone from your life, he is with you in your heart and soul. Just put your hands upon your chest, tenderly hold onto your heart, so you can feel his presence, his warmth, and his love. Barbara, George has been your true soul mate and your inspiration. He will always be in your heart. When you need someone to lean on, to talk with, to understand, or help with anything, someone to sit with you quietly or just need a hand to hold, please call, that's what friends are for. You and George have been our dear friends and we care deeply about you. We will truely miss George as will many of his friends and family. Please remember that George is no longer in that terrible pain and dealing with that awful disease. He's in heaven with the Lord and the angels who will be watching over him. He is in the most beautiful place that you can imagine, painfree. George is watching over all the people that he has loved. I believe he will be waiting patiently with open arms for the day that he reunites with his love and soulmate, Barbara. George is a true man, a man of honor, a man of the Lord and a dedicated and loving husband, a proud father, and a true friend who has had a fullfilled life of devotion, loving, commitment, giving, and caring. Not only has he been a true man to his wife, family and friends but he has also been a true man to God, himself, the world and the people in it by his dedication, his time, energy, and soul to the military. George's military experience helped to mold him into the wonderful man that he has been. He devoted his life in the military, to our country and the people, not only his family and friends but people he didn't even know. He wanted this country to be a safer place for everyone. This is the kind of person George has been, a true man! George has definately been a man of honor, dedication, love, devotion, sincerity, giving, and truely a wonderful person. I am very honored for having the pleasure of knowing Mr. Allen and having the opportunity to be friends. I am so grateful to George for all of his loving, caring, giving, devotion, and the happiness that he has brought to my wonderful friend, Barbara. George has made Barb's life complete, full of happiness, tons of enjoyment, excitement, a life of pleasure, security, and contentment. My prayers will be with Barb, George's sons, daughter and family today and the days ahead. May Barb, the family, and friends find peace and comfort in knowing that George has had a life of fullfillment and absolutely has earned his golden halo and big, beautiful, feathered wings. George is a true angel!! Every time you look up to heaven, through those big fluffy clouds, so high in the sky, may a warm, peaceful, comfort fill your soul. As the twinkle of a bright shiny star catches your eye, in the heaven's bluest sky or the star that is shining down through a beautiful white cloud, bring you peace and comfort knowing that George is looking down upon you.
With All Our Love,
Corina & John Shelton
