A. Christopher Bakken, Jr., 90, of Beaver, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Born March 27, 1931 in Mount Vernon, NY, he was a son of the late Adolph C. and Helen Clouser Bakken. Chris had previously worked in international sales for Alcoa, going on to become Vice President of Sales at McDanel Refractory. He retired in 2011 as Vice President of Wealth Management for Morgan Stanley following a 24-year career with the company. Chris was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, Beaver,

Chris will be greatly missed by his wife of 63-years, Barbara Summers Bakken; son, Adolph C. (Katie) Bakken III; daughters, Sandra (Joseph) Bakken Caruso and Ellen (Keith) Bakken Colonna; sister, Karen Bakken Shaffer; grandchildren, Adolph C. (Sara) Bakken, IV, Dr. Alexander C. Bakken, Stephanie B. (Brad) Borghetti, Courtney S. (Wil) Henigman, Joseph A. Caruso III, Keith A. (Caitlinn) Colonna, Jr., and Rachel C. (Edward) Ord III; along with great-grandchildren, Charlotte G. and Camryn R. Borghetti, and Harrison W. and Quinn S. Henigman.

Friends will be received Friday, August 20, 2021, from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
