Anna Marie Boes

Anna Marie Boes, 93, of Chippewa Twp., formerly of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Born August 13, 1928 in Jeannette, she was a daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary Joyce Wizzard. A resident of Beaver most of her life, Anna Marie was a registered nurse and former member of the Crimson Line, Beaver Women’s Club, the former Beaver Valley Country Club, and Life Steps. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, and later, St. Monica’s Catholic Church, Beaver Falls. Anna Marie enjoyed golf, bowling and playing cards in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Boes in 1997; and siblings, Rita Taylor, Betty Piacentino, Mina Harrison, and Jack Wizzard.

She will be greatly missed by her sons, Bill (Pam) Boes, Chris (Andrea) Boes, Tim (Debbie Tenda) Boes, and Dan (Lori) Boes; and grandchildren, Keenan (Katlyn Geist) Boes, Adam, Will, Jake, and Tucker Boes, and Amie Boes (Chad) Fish; and great-grandchildren, Lia Kate and Ella Joyce Fish, and Avery Mae Boes.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley, Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver.
