Anna Tonkovich Radella, 93, of Brighton Twp., formerly of Midland, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at Beaver Meadows Assisted Living, Brighton Twp., surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 17, 1923, in McKees Rocks, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Sam and Mary Toplak Tonkovich. She was currently a member of the St. Cecilia Parish, Rochester, and had formerly belonged to the St. Blaise Parish, Midland.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, was her husband of 55 years, Mike Radella in 1996.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Ethel) Radella, New Sewickley Twp., and Allan (Linda) Radella, Rochester; a daughter and son-in-law, Millie (Neil) Downing, Medfield, Mass.; sisters, Mildred Kersey, Hyattsville, Md., and Catherine Nicholson, Hopewell; four cherished grandchildren, Mitchell Allan Radella, Marjorie Joyce Metts, Michael Alexander and Christopher Allan Downing, and a great-granddaughter, Trinity August Metts. She is also survived by a nephew, David Nicholson; nieces, Janice Darnell, MaryKay Kersey, Donna Love, Kathryn Todd, Dorothy Gula, and Roberta Danylo and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 28, 2017, from 12 noon until time of blessing service at 4 p.m. in the SCHWERHA-NOLL FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. Private interment will take place at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
The family would like to thank the staff and management of Beaver Meadows Assisted Living for their compassionate care given to Anna for the past two years and to the Heritage Hospice for the past two weeks.
