Anthony J. Checca

Anthony Joseph Checca, 67, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Born August 28, 1950 in East Liverpool, OH, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Virginia Checca. A resident of Midland and Industry all his life, he retired as the chief anesthetist at Heritage Valley, Beaver following a 15-year career. Anthony was a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.

He will be sadly missed by his son, Anthony Michael Checca, Pittsburgh; his daughter, April L. Checca, Industry; a brother, Joseph Donald Checca, Midland; two granddaughters, Mila Ann Dekleva and Zoey Jane Liberatore; his former wife, Marjorie Jane Checca, Industry; one nephew and two nieces, Anthony, Dawn Marie, and Tracie; and great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, December 22, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, where full military rites will be given at 5 p.m. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
