Anthony V. “Red” Troiani, 58, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, January 27, 2017, at Indiana Regional Hospital.
Born August 23, 1958, in Rochester, he was a son of the late Albert P., Sr. and Regina P. Deramo Troiani. Red was a 1976 graduate of Midland High School where he played football, attended Westminster where he was on the wrestling team, was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and later graduated from CCBC with a degree in Computer Programming. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the St. Blaise Parish, Midland, and had worked at the family business, Riveria Lanes in Midland. It was there that Red was his father’s “right hand man’.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Nicolette “Nikki” Troiani, Midland; Albert P. Troiani, Jr., Midland; Phillip (Cathy) Troiani, Zelienople, and Anna Marie R. Troiani, Wheeling, W.Va.; a nephew, Albert Domenic Troiani, Midland, and a niece, Gabriella Mary Elizabeth Troiani, Zelienople. He is also survived by a large loving family.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SCHWERHA-NOLL FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Church by Father Michael Yaksick. Interment in the family mausoleum will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, in Anthony’s name to the Midland Carnegie Library or to the St. Blaise Parish.
