Ardith A. Hartford

Ardith Ann Hartford, 76, of Beaver Falls passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Brighton Rehab & Wellness Center, Brighton Township.

Born August 12, 1940 in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Thomas B. and Anna Kislock Hartford and had been a resident of the city most of her life. Ardith valued education, garnering a master’s degree before becoming a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Ardith was preceded in death by her uncle, Steven Kislock, Jr.; two aunts, Stefie McCandles and Julie Quigley; and cousins, Shirley Quigley Plassmeyer and Robert “Bobby” Kislock.

She will be sadly missed by her cousins Margie (Ron) Gerrard, Las Vegas, NV, Patty Mangeri, Koppel, Steve (Caral) Kislock III, Beaver Falls, Gerald (Marlean) Kislock, Rochester, William (Paula) Kislock, Pittsburgh, and Thomas Kislock, Mesa, AZ; along with Celeste Van Kirk and Mary Van Kirk Steffime who brought light and love into Ardith’s life. Also cherishing her memory is Tracy Seiling of the Crimsonline Volunteers who never missed a visit.

It was Ardith’s wish to have no public visitation. Interment, with a service officiated by Dr. Judy Angleburger of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver Falls, took place at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
