Arthur Frank

Arthur Edward Frank, Sr. 93, of Brighton Twp., passed away at home on September 1, 2026.

Born August 15, 1933, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Arthur M. and Kathryn Watkins Frank. Arthur served in the United States Army during the Koreon Conflict as a mechanic. He also worked for Pittsburgh Tube Company for 35 years where he was a machinist and then the foreman of the maintenance and machinists. In his younger days Arthur enjoyed fishing and hunting. He always enjoyed solving mechanical problems and working with his hands. During his second retirement he can be remembered for his love of his Havanese Shit Tzu named Willow (whom he renamed Havashit) as his companion. Arthur’s highlight of the Fall season was watching the Steelers on TV.

Arthur frequently spoke of how proud he was of his son for his mechanical skills, and he appreciated his daughter-in-law’s love of dogs. He was very appreciative of his daughter, Sally and her husband Don for their care of him through his 5 years of his “second” retirement; nephew, John Frank who he had many lunches, debates and good conversations with; niece, Linda McClelland who is now mom to his furry little girl Willow. Arthur was very proud of both of his grandsons Danial and Art III for what they have achieved in life.

Arthur will be greatly missed by his son, Arthur (Diane) Frank, Jr.; daughter, Sally (Don) Rea; brother, Robert (Cindy) Frank; sister, Debbie (Pete) Duffy; grandchildren, Arthur (Krystal) Frank III; and Daniel (Christa) Frank; along with great-grandchildren, Kylie, Anthony, Danny, and Emily Frank; Great great-granddaughter, Elena as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Barbara Reich Frank (2021); daughter, Karyn Yvonne Frank (1986); brother, Claud Fredrick Frank; stepsister, Margaret McCleeland; half-sister, Mary Boyd.

As per Arthur’s wishes, there will be no public services. Interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

Memorial donations in Arthur’s name may be made to Beaver County Humane Society.
