Augustine Nola, 96, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Industry, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Silver Spring, MD.
Born August 19, 1920 in Midland, he was a son of the late Mike and Rose Nutz Nola. Augustine retired as a rigger from Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving proudly during WWII.
Augustine will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Mary Rose Riei Nola, Silver Spring, MD; two sons, Michael (Krystal) Nola and Dennis (Sandra) Nola; two daughters, Rebecca (Malcolm) Gerrard and Debra (Jerome) Hepp; nine grandchildren, David (Beth) Gerrard, Jamie (Christy) Nola, Benjamin (Nicole) Nola, Jason Gerrard, Daniel and Raena Nola, and Kiersten, Nicholas, and Tristan Hepp; along with five great-grandchildren, Desmond, Scarlett, Isabella, and Asira Nola, and Dylan Gerrard.
Friends will be received Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Christian Assembly Church, Industry. At 11 a.m., a service will be conducted by Reverend Bill Anzevino, followed by a private interment at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
