Barry Wolfe

May 8, 1939 — February 7, 2019

Barry Wolfe, 79, of Ohioville, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 7, 2019.

Born May 8, 1939 in Connellsville, to the late Robert and Esther Wolfe, he had attended Christian Assembly in Ohioville, and was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and Midland Sportsman’s Club. Barry had formerly worked at B & W Steel, Beaver Falls and Koppel Steel, Ambridge. For the past 15 years, he had driven bus for Frye Transportation, Brighton Twp., where he was the company’s first driver. Barry was a man of learning everything about God’s creation of nature, not much he did not know in that area. Fall was his special time of the year, it was time to see how well his harvest would be in his love for digging his own crop of Ginseng, and also tramping through the woods hunting for it. He loved getting young folks interested in growing Ginseng, getting them seeds and showing them how to plant. Barry was always so excited to see how they would do in the Fall when it was time, and ready to harvest. God blessed him mightily with the nature of kindness and generosity. Love glowed from him always abounding to others. There are not enough words to describe this precious God fearing man. Sweetness dripped from him just like honey.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of nearly 60 years, Ginny; a son, Tim (Karla) Wolfe, of Charlotte, North Carolina; two daughters, Kelly Wolfe of Ohioville, and Jodi (Rick) Mancini of Patterson Twp.; twelve cherished grandchildren, Lexie and Bradley Wolfe, Hannah, Levi, Caleb, Samuel, and Timothy Mancini, Hallie Netherland, Cebran (Jolynn) Netherland, Celina (Cory) Amhrien, and Bryar and Elidabarrie Netherland; six great-grandchildren, Tiger, Gianni, Jackson, Hadassah, Cebran II and Cataleya. He is also survivied by a brother, Rick (Maria) Wolfe, 3 sisters, Sharon (Ron) Poch, Judy (Ralph) Riedel, Tyanne (Pete) Jurka, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Monday February 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
