Beatrice “Bea” Flasco, 91, of Midland, passed away November 26, 2015.
Born July 23, 1924 in Bruin, PA, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Heilman Fair. A resident of Midland since 1943, she worked as a welder at the Curtis Wright Plant during WWII, and for 21 years, at Kmart in Calcutta, OH and Rochester. She was a member of St. Blaise Parish, Midland.
In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Joseph Flasco in 2006, three sisters, Margaret Piper, Jane Erdos, and Madelyon Wade, and a brother, Ralph Fair.
She is survived by a son, Thomas (Debbie) Flasco, Midland, a daughter, Harriet (John) Ulizio, Hagerstown, MD, one brother, James H. (Betty) Fair, Chicora, PA, five grandchildren, Kim (Barak) Frydman, Rachel (Jay) Wieder, John, Thomas, and Matthew Ulizio, and three greatgrandchildren, Roxanne, Jay Thomas, and Chase Wieder. Bea is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the SchwerhaNoll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, followed by prayers at 7:00 pm by Father Michael Yaksick. Private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bea’s name to the Carnegie Library, 61 9th Street, Midland, PA 15059
