Beatrice L. "Bea" Kidda

Beatrice L. “Bea” Valent Kidda, 91, of Chippewa Township, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on February 26, 2026.

Born on November 7, 1934, in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, Bea was the youngest daughter of the late Joseph and Katarina Valent. She was a proud graduate of St. Ann’s Catholic High School in Lansford, Pennsylvania. Over the years, she made her home in Youngstown, Ohio, before settling in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where she spent many cherished years.

Bea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Kidda; her daughter, Barbara; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jill Kidda Puskaric of Chippewa Township; her son, Joseph Jr. (Debbie) Kidda of Chippewa Township; her granddaughter, Jenny Puskaric; her grandsons, Jeff (Susan) Puskaric and Bryan (Amber) Linville; her two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Bowen Linville; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life and her greatest joy.

Bea was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Chippewa Township. She enjoyed many friendships through her membership at Beaver Valley Country Club, where she was an avid golfer. She also found great happiness in gardening and reading—simple pleasures that reflected her gentle and thoughtful spirit.

In accordance with Beatrice’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A private service will be held, with entombment to follow at Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum.
