Bernard (Brownie) Vuckovich

Bernard (Brownie) Vuckovich, of Industry, passed away surrounded by his loving family, at his daughter’s home, on May 7, 2023. Born on March 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Milan and Helen Lovorja Vuckovich, and was a faithful and active member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Bernard had worked at Crucible & J&L Steel, as steelworker and was a member of Local 1212 Steelworkers, as well as the Midland Serbian Club, where he served as the President for over 30 years. He also served as an Industry Councilman. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Nick, Pete, and Mike; sisters, Rosie Vuckovich, Cinny Vanfosson, Mutzie Stepanovich, Zecky Langone, Cucie Bulet; nieces, Debbie Morgan, and Sally Brooks; and a nephew Nick Vuckovich, Jr. Bernard leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Lola; his son, Steven Vuckovich; his daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Vuckovich and Roger Bragg; sister, Helen Cubra; grandchildren, his boy, Connor Bragg, Olivia and Victoria Wolfe, and Hannah Cindrich. Friends will be received on Monday May 15, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home Inc., 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, PA, 15009. A Pomen Service will be conducted Monday evening at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday May 16, 2023 at 11am at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 30 10th Street, Midland, PA, 15059.
