Betty S. Bunish

Betty S. Bunish, 97, of Vanport., passed away in Good Samaritan at Heritage Valley Beaver surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Born December 29, 1921 in Brighton Township, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude Myers Heideger.  A lifelong resident of Vanport and Beaver, Betty worked as Rosie Riveter at Curtis Wright during WWII, and at Beaver High School Cafeteria for many years. She was a member of Vanport Presbyterian Church and also of Vanport Fire Department Women Auxiliary.

Betty will be greatly missed by a son, Timothy (Susan) Bunish of Poland, Ohio; a daughter Sharon (Randy) Morrow of Vanport, Pa., six grandchildren, Stacy (David) Rutana, Jamey (Kerri) Stalnecker, Scott (Jennifer) Bunish, Brent (Rhonda) Stalnecker, Erin Stalnecker, and Randy Jr. (Alayna) Morrow; a sister, Ellen Harrison of Vanport; and  eleven great-grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 1996; A grandson Matthew Stalnecker in 2017; a brother Arthur Heideger; and a sister Virginia Hamilton

Friends will be received on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., conducted by her pastor, Reverend David Byers in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.  Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com
