Betty Ferrebee Johnston

Betty Ferrebee, 81 of Ohioville, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, surrounded by her family.

Born June 20, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Smith Johnston, and was a lifelong resident of Ohioville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ferrebee, in 1997, a daughter, Martha Ferrebee, a sister, Edna Bell, a brother Olen Johnston and her daughter in law, Robin Ferrebee.

She is survived by her sons, Ralph Ferrebee Jr., Ohioville; Bruce (Angie) Ferrebee, Ohioville; a daughter, Melanie (Bill) Gamble, Calcutta; a brother, Al Johnston, Frederickstown, OH; two sisters, Patty Johnston, Ohioville; Mary Leport, Industry; four grandchildren, Ashton, Cassie and Amanda Ferrebee, and Jasin Gamble; three great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Ferrebee, Mycha and Tia Gamble; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. Private interment will take place at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
