Betty L. Nida

Betty L. Nida, 92, of Big Beaver, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023. Born on January 12, 1931, in Darlington PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Charlotte Craft. Betty was devoted to her faith, and was an active and faithful member of Christ Presbyterian Church, PCA. She also was a former member of Fairview Church, were she played piano, taught Sunday School, served as secretary on numerous committees, as well having been the secretary for Fairview School. Along with her parents, Betty was proceeded in death by her first husband, Herbert Wayne Nida (2008); and her second husband, Ulhan Nida (2013). Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie L. and George Maze III; devoted sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shelvy and George Dawson; grandchildren, George D. IV and Mary E. Maze, and Jessica Young; and great-grandchildren, Eric, Lily, and Leah Maze, and Keith Hickey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on February 8, 2023 at 3pm at Christian Presbyterian Church, PCA, 828 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, PA, 15010.
