Beverly Roe Kelly, 80, of Brighton Twp., went to her eternal reward on Dec. 12, crowning a long, full life affirmed by boundless generosity, unwavering faith in God and tireless devotion to family, friends and any soul in need of comfort or a kind word.
Born Feb. 27, 1939, in Butler, daughter of the late Victor A. and Violet A. Maxwell Roe, Beverly was a longtime member of Park Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Butler High School and Clarion University, and was a public school teacher in the Butler Area and Beaver Area school districts before suspending her career to raise a family.
In her second career, Beverly built a successful small business as a sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Over 40 years, she sold cosmetics and a determined gospel of self-empowerment to countless women who followed her example and advice to start businesses and new careers of their own.
Beverly will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to everyone touched by her love of laughter, relentless positivity and kind counsel. The light she cast so freely and happily shines on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.
Along with her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John D. Kelly; and two brothers, Thomas and Donald Roe.
Beverly is dearly missed by her sons and their wives, Christopher John and Chrisann Terruso Kelly of Old Forge, PA and Jeffrey Michael and Nancy Rubino Kelly of Hopewell; and her treasured granddaughters, Meghan Jean Kelly and Alaina Nicole Kelly of Hopewell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m at Noll Funeral Hone., 333 Third St., Beaver PA 15009, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019 at 1p.m. Private interment to follow in Beaver Cemetery.
