Bill J. Lilly, 72, passed peacefully with his wife, Lynda by his side on December 8, 2021 at their home in Beaver, Pennsylvania after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was born on November 8, 1949 in Chapmanville, West Virginia to John and Wilma Lilly. He was a hardworking, determined businessman touching many lives with his generosity. He worked in the forging industry for 30 years, later retiring as a successful bar/restaurant owner of several establishments. He had a true passion for sharing his love of music with others singing and playing guitar. He played in the local oldies band “Amber.” His daughter, Julie and several of his grandchildren share his gift and love for music.
Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lynda; 3 children and 10 grandchildren: Robbie and Shane Lilly and children, Marissa Charnes, Gabriel Lilly, Gustavo Cordova, Griffin Lilly, and Grant Lilly; William Jeffrey Lilly and children; Braeden Lilly, Alia Madarieta and Austin Lilly; Julie and Joe Lichtner and children: Jordan Lichtner and Jakob Lichtner. Also, surviving are his 7 siblings; Mike Lilly, Linda Kniaziuk, Irene Vanmeter, Frances Manuel, Gail Blount, Diane Gagnon, and Barbara Kandris. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Wilma Lilly and brother, John Lilly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date where friends and family will be invited. Arrangements are conducted by Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA.
