Billie (Eva) Christian Sprecker, 95, of Beaver, passed away early Thursday morning, January 18, 2018 at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.
Born February 9, 1922 in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Eva Corbett Christian. A former beautician and shop owner in College Hill, Beaver Falls, Billie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who proudly did her part during WWII as an overhead crane operator at B & W Steel. She had been a resident of Beaver for nearly 45 years and was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. Billie’s hobbies were bowling and playing cards, and she traveled several times to the Isle of Man, Great Britain, her parents’ country of origin. Her greatest joys were times spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death in 2016 by her beloved husband of 67 years, Richard D. Sprecker; four sisters, Annie Hawthorne, Virginia Young, Zena McClean and Mona Geyer; and three brothers, Robert Hawthorne, Art Christian, Jack Christian and Fred Christian.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Rick (Mary Ann) Sprecker, Beaver; a daughter, Deborah (Pete) Bilotto, Beaver; cherished grandchildren, Jim (Claudia) Bilotto, Atlanta, GA; Heather (Chad) Coladonato, Beaver; Tina Bilotto, Northville, MI; Shawn Sprecker, New York City; Joseph (Kristi) Bilotto, Midland; and Krissy (Tim Smith) Bilotto, Baltimore, MD; along with nine great-grandchildren, Tessa and Jenna Bilotto, Jason and Jocelyn Phelps, Rocco and Izabella Coladonato, Angelo and Lily Bilotto, and Arlo Smith; one sister, Peggy Paulin, CA; and a brother, Tom Christian.
Friends will be received Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. A private interment will take place in the Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
