Brian E. Modany

Brian Eugene Modany, age 53, of Midland, tragically lost his life due to a drowning accident on Saturday, July 14, 2018.

Born February 4, 1965 in Rochester, he was a son of Patricia Ann (Steele) Modany of Midland and the late John Henry Modany.

Brian was a 1984 graduate of Western Beaver High School and attended Robert Morris University. He was a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.  Brian was an operating engineer and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66.

In addition to his mother, Patricia, he is survived by siblings, Terri Roman of Hopewell Twp.; John (Dana) Modany of Wexford; Lynda (Bob) Johnson of Potomac, MD; Kevin (Brittany) Modany of Carmel, IN; Michelle (Cornell) Holloway of Rockville, MD; and Toni (Patrick) Burke of Moon Twp.  He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Preceding him in death besides his father, John, was a brother-in-law Jerry A. Roman

Friends will be received in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third Street in Beaver, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church.
