Caleb John Thurnher was born on February 17, 2016 at 11:19 am to loving parents, Brian and Brenda May Thurnher, Chippewa Township. He weighed 4 lbs, 4 oz and was 18 inches long. Although we knew Caleb’s life here with us would be short, we were blessed deeply by the time we had with him while he danced in his Momma’s womb.
Just 13 hours after coming into the world, Caleb passed away peacefully in his father’s arms at Heritage Valley, Beaver, Brighton Township. During that fleeting time, he touched many lives and was loved by all who had the privilege to meet him.
In addition to his parents, surviving Caleb are his older sister, Addison, grandparents, Thomas and Dawn May, New Brighton, and Dave Ammon, Rochester, Great Grandparents, Lysle Miller, Beaver Falls, Rose Gagne, Ambridge, Jerry and Vicki Gagne, Beaver Falls, and Barbara Schmidt, Ft. Meyers, FL, aunts and uncles Matthew and Amber May, Coatesville, Patrick and Jenny Hanson, Beaver, Bethany and Dan Sauers and their son, Dean, Artie Knox and his son Jeramiah, Gary and Michelle Focer and their sons, Joey and Jaiden. He was also greatly loved by his numerous other great aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
Caleb was recently preceded in death by his older brother, Gavin Thomas Thurnher and his paternal grandmother, Tyna Knox.
Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A memorial service, conducted by Caleb’s great uncle, Reverend Wade Barto, will take place immediately following visitation at 3:00 pm. Caleb will be interred alongside his big brother Gavin, who would have loved him dearly, at Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver. The interment will be private. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
