Candice Rae Morse Eckhardt

Candice Rae Morse Eckhardt, 75, of Beaver, passed away on August 14, 2023, with her family by her side. Born on January 19, 1948, in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Alice Morse, and was a 1966 Beaver Area High School graduate. Candy has been a resident of Beaver for most of her life, and worked as a clerk for 45 years for PA Railroad, Penn Central, Conrail, and Norfolk Southern. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Veteran Railroad Employees, where she served as the local secretary. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Eckhardt, on October 22, 2022; and her sister, Toni Morse. Candy will be sadly missed by her sons, Donald “D.J.” (Lisa) McGovern; and Richard McGovern; brothers, Raymond (Linda) Morse Jr., and Ernest (Patty) Wolfe; niece, Jane Shearer Moenich; She was GiGi, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews, but had a special connection with her beloved great nieces Jennifer, Jillian, and Jodie, and great-great nephews Oliver and Oni; and was well known as Aunt Candy to many. Friends will be received in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009, on Saturday August 19, 2023 from 12pm until the time of service at 5pm.
