Carla A. Figas, 73, of Beaver, passed away with her family at her side, Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born December 22, 1947 in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late Carl L. and Ann Linta Moldovan. A Beaver resident for 37 years, Carla had formerly worked as a secretary for B. I.M.A. in Chippewa, and later, at First Presbyterian Church, Beaver where she was a faithful member. She also loved to craft and would sell her creations at the annual Garrison Day Sale in Beaver for the past 15 years.
Carla will be greatly missed by her husband of nearly 53 years, Richard F. Figas, Beaver; son, Andrew Figas, Hudson, FL; daughter, Stacey (Zachary Gordon) Figas, Freedom; sister-in-law, Carol Figas; four grandchildren, Madalynn and Sophia Figas, and Meela and Scott Gordon; along with special friends, Nancy Freshcorn and Sue Getz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Moldovan.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 333 THIRD ST., BEAVER. A funeral service will be conducted by her pastor, Reverend Jeff Arnold, Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Beaver. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
