Carol A. Huchko, 79, of Hopewell, passed away on February 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 27, 1944, in Santa Ana, California, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Bandula Shaban. Carol was a member of St. George Byzantine Catholic Church, Aliquippa, where she formerly served on council. She belonged to the Hopewell VFW Ladies Auxiliary, loved word games, puzzles, reading, and hosting family dinners. Carol was a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was making her famous chocolate chip cookies and buttered noodles, telling stories, attending and supporting their activities, or sharing life lessons.
Preceding Carol in death was her husband Ronald Huchko, 2003, and grandson Benjamin Folmar, 2008.
Carol will be greatly missed by her three children, Jeff (Mary) Huchko, Brighton Township; Debra (Dave) Folmar, Aliquippa; and Greg (Lori) Huchko, Arizona; brothers, John (Fran) Shaban, Brighton Township, and Dr. Stephen Shaban, North Carolina; sister, Linda (Ed) Ondovcik, Cranberry; grandchildren, Allison, Ross and Colin Huchko, McKenna and Kellen Huchko, and numerous nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home Inc, 333 Third Street Beaver. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. George Byzantine Church, 1001 Clinton St., Aliquippa, PA 15001. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 2186 Broadhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.

Carol loved sending and receiving greeting cards. The family kindly requests that you bring a Valentine’s Day card, or other cheerful greeting card, to visitation.
The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Villa St. Joseph and Good Samaritan Hospice for their love and compassionate care given to Carol during her time there.
