Carol A. Monac

Carol A. Monac, 82, of Midland, passed away on August 6, 2017 at Brighton Rehab and Wellness surrounded by her family.

Born on September 26, 1934, a daughter of the late William J. and Dorothy Baich Spisak, she was a faithful member of St. Blaise Parish, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, former president of Christian Mothers, and had once served on the Parish Council. Carol was a 1952 graduate of Midland High School, a lifetime member and former board member of the Girls Scouts, Western Pennsylvania, and president of Junior Women’s Club, Beaver-Midland.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William P. Monac, Jr. on August 1, 2005.

She will be sadly missed by her loving family including her three daughters; Camille (James) Ulizio of Midland, Dorothea “Dottie” Monac of Midland, Desiree M. (John) Ludwig of Naples, FL; one son, William P. Monac III of Midland; three sisters, Constance Ditzel of Chicago, IL, Barbara D’Eramo of Midland, Christine Spisak of New York City; three cherished grandchildren Jamie Maria (Eugene) Bechtel of Brighton Township., James Jonathen Ulizio II, and Ashley Lauren Ulizio, both of Midland, and two great-grandchildren Angel McKindley, and Alexander James Bechtel.

Friends will be received on Thursday August 10th 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue Midland PA 15059. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 11, 2017 at 9:30am in St. Blaise Parish, 772 Ohio Ave, Midland, PA 15059 with Father Michael Yaksick officiating.
