Carol B. Pomaybo

Carol B. Pomaybo, 89 of Brighton Township., passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born December 25, 1926, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late David and Buela Roll. Carol was a member of the Chapel Presbyterian Church (PCA), Brighton Township.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents, was her husband, Mike Pomaybo, in 1993, and two brothers, David and Oron Roll.

She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her family, including her two sons, Robert Pomaybo and Gary (Pam) Pomaybo, all of Brighton Twp.; two daughters, Carol (Pat) Haffey, Ohioville, and Kathy (John) Majcher, Beaverton, OR; two sisters-in-law, Ruth and Jean Roll, both of Beaver; four cherished grandchildren, Rachel Pomaybo, Jennifer (Ryan) Baltley, Jeff (Charity) Pomaybo and Jessica (Daniel) Mathews; six great-grandchildren, Luke, Trevor and Conner Bartley, Avery and Harper Mathews, and Justin Larrison; her close friend, Sarah Cupps, of Brighton Twp., and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, visitation and funeral services were private. Her pastor, Rev. Steve Maker, conducted a family service followed by private interment at Sylvania Hills, Daugherty Twp.
