Caroline C. Rizzilli Verzella

Caroline C. (Verzella) Rizzilli, 88, of Ohioville passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born June 11, 1927 in Rochester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Donatella Verzella and had been a resident of Ohioville for over 50 years. She retired as a registered nurse, having worked at both Aliquippa Hospital in Pennsylvania and East Liverpool Hospital in Ohio. Caroline was a longtime member of St. Blaise Parish in Midland

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Remo Ray Rizzilli in 1995, and 2 brothers, Henry and Frank Verzella.

Caroline is survived by 3 sons, Anthony (Jodi) Rizzilli of Kittanning, Raymond (Karena) Rizzilli of Harrisburg, and Ronald (Marsha) Rizzilli of Ohioville, 2 sisters-in-law, Donna Verzella of Wellsville, Ohio, and Rosemary Verzella of Midland and 3 cherished grandchildren, Jessica and Maria Rizzilli, and Connor Foschi.

Friends will be received Tuesday, from 6-8 PM at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, PA 15059. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, at 10:30 AM by Fr. Michael Yaksick at St. Blaise Roman Catholic Church in Midland. Private interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
