Carolyn B. Kulcyk

Carolyn Graham (Booth) Kulcyk, 92, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Brighton Twp., passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019.

Born September 23, 1926 in St. Petersburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Reverend J. Richard Booth and Lydia (Fritchman) Booth. A 1944 graduate of Beaver Falls High School and Geneva College class of 1947, Carolyn will be remembered as a devoted mother and loving grandmother. As an integral part of the community, she participated for more than 45 years in the Beaver Castle Council of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, serving in many capacities from troop leader to council president. Carolyn was a former president and committee chair of the Crimson Line Auxiliary of the former Beaver County Geriatric Center, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, member of the Deer Trails Country Club and Ft. McIntosh Club Bridge Group. She was a faithful member of Hope Lutheran Church, Brighton Twp., where she taught Sunday School and served as a President of the Women of Hope.

She will be greatly missed by her son, John Richard (JoAnn) Kulcyk, Waunakee, WI; daughter, Michal Kulcyk (Robert) Rittler, West Chester, PA; grandchildren, Eric Kulcyk, Matthew (Molly) Kulcyk, Niki Kulcyk, Rachel Rittler, Kate (Mario Kast) Rittler, Lauren Rittler, and Heather Rittler; and sister, Georgianna Booth Hecmanczuk, North Olmstead, OH.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Kulcyk; a daughter, Lois Jean Kulcyk; sisters, Claribel, Harriet Jane, and Barbara Joan Booth; and a brother-in-law, Paul Hecmanczuk.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, West Chester, PA. Local friends and family will be received Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A memorial service will be conducted by her pastor, Reverend Freda Snyder, Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Brighton Twp.
