Carolyn Jean Parrish, 74, of Brighton Twp., passed away Saturday morning, March 18, 2017, with her family at her side.

Born May 24, 1942, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Florence Cline and had been a resident of Brighton Twp. the past 4 years. Carolyn had formerly worked as a waitress and manager at the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe in Ambridge and had also worked for the Rochester School District. She is a former member of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Baden, and had been active as a member of the Red Hat Society. She also loved to play poker and bingo.

Surviving is her husband of nearly 30 years, Tom R. Parrish; a son, Terry Lee Dawson; four daughters, Debbie (Butch) Dappenbrook, Michelle Dawson, Jennifer Cowher, and Laura Lorey; her cherished grandchildren, Robert (Katie) Dappenbrook, Stephanie Dappenbrook, Jordan (Lauren) Dwire, Brandan Dwire, Alysa and Noah Stofen, Corey and Haley Richards, Terry, Justin and Bradley Dawson, Cameron Biego, and Joey Parrish; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Cline, and a sister, Eleanor Schriner.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents, was a son, Chris Lee Dawson, Sr.; an infant daughter, Stephanie, and a sister, Joan Milliron.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. Interment will take place at the Beaver Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
