Charles L. Hatt, 65, of New Sewickley Twp., formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021.
Born March 26, 1956 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Charles O. and Ruth Tyndall Hatt. Charles had a long career as a Lighting Engineer throughout the tri-state area, nationally, and internationally. His career included employment with Phillips Hadco, Architectural Lighting Sales, Inc., Gormley and Associates, and Chicago Lightworks. He was a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, and the F&AM Ellwood Parian Lodge # 599, Ellwood City. He was a proud graduate of Penn State University. Charles also attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Allison Park.
Charles was a former musician and lifelong music lover. He was an avid traveler, history buff, and photographer.
Charles will be missed by his trusted friend of 46 years, and significant other for 6, Donna Hazenstab Lack; stepchildren, Jen (Shawn McCartney) Lack, Kelly (Josh) Schaller, Stacy (Jayon) Blagg, and Shari Lack Haugh; and Goddaughter, Brittany Locke. He will also be missed by his cousins Karen (Winn) Miller and Kathy (Laney) Hill, and his four grands, Jaden, Gretchen, Jacob, and Jaxen.
Friends will be received Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
