Charles E. Mehno

Charles E. Mehno, 65 of Industry passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver following a courageous 31 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born July 24, 1952 in Rochester, Pa, he was a son of the late Michael G. & Frances Newdomski Mehno and was a 1970 graduate of Western Beaver High School, and had worked at Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland.  Chuck had been a faithful member of the former St. Christine Church in Industry and later a member of Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver where he loved serving as a greeter.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Mehno, Industry, a sister, Barb Maceross, Cranberry, 2 cherished nieces, Lauren Maceross, Baltimore, Leslie Maceross, Bloomfield, his aunt, Ethel Drake, Bridgewater, special cousin, Lisa (Mark) Pederson, compassionate caregivers, Donna Holava, who cared for Chuck for 20 years, Vie Bradford, his cousin, Mike McCoy, Cathy Smith, Tiffany Miller, 2 social workers, Sherri and Jen, and a special friend, Tim Carland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:30 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, Beaver.  In the absence of his pastor, Fr. Michael Decewicz will celebrate the Mass.  Interment at the Beaver Cemetery will take place at a later date.
