Charles O. Neville

Charles O. Neville, 88, of Hopewell Twp., passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 17, 2018.

Born July 10, 1930 in Chester, WV, he was a son of the late Olen and Golda Nevill. Charles served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He called Newport Richey, FL home for 25 years, but lived most of his life in Brighton Twp., retiring as a steelworker from the former LTV Steel Corporation. Charles was a member of the F & AM 457, St. James Lodge, Beaver, and the New Castle Consistory.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lois J. Neville, Hopewell Twp.; two sons, Rick (Linda) Neville, Greer, SC, and Scott (Sharon) Neville, Hopewell Twp.; daughter, Christine Neville-Hyrb, Hopewell Twp.; two brothers, Donald “George” (Marilyn) Nevill, Brighton Twp., and Samuel (Mike Jennings) Nevill, Otto, NC; along with eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per Charles wishes, there will be no public visitation. A graveside service, with full military rites, will be conducted Monday, December 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
