Charles Reich

Charles Reich, 72, of Chippewa, formerly of Beaver, passed away suddenly in his home on February 9, 2022.

Born March 10, 1949, in Beaver County, he was the son of the late Christian and Mildred Reich. Chuck or “Chaz” as his family affectionately called him, was a resident of Chippewa for the last 22 years. He graduated in 1967 from Beaver Area High School and then obtained a B.A. in Sociology from Northwestern University.

As a young man, he was a world traveler. His love of travel extended throughout his life where he made several trips with his late wife, Pamela. Chuck and Pam were married for 41 years. He was a devoted husband, father to his two sons, Chris (Kerri Nicoll) Leyda and Ian (Martha Moslener) Leyda. Being a grandfather to Jack, Charlie, Malcolm, Evie and Maggie was the highlight of his life.

He was an elder at Park Presbyterian and Steffin Hill Presbyterian Churches. He retired as an operator from the Nuclear Power Plant. He enjoyed his retirement perfecting his golf swing, listening to music, loving his family and watching his grandson play baseball.

Friends will be received at Noll Funeral Home in Beaver on February 22 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral will be held on February 23 at 11:00am at Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church in Patterson Twp.
