Charlotte G. Black, 93, of Sewickley, formerly of Beaver, PA, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Masonic Village, Sewickley, PA.

Born to Earl Glendenning, Sr., and Ella May Morgan Glendenning, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Charlotte was active in her community, serving as an Elder, Sunday School teacher, and choir member with First Presbyterian Church, Midland, PA before being a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, PA. She was a member at Deer Trails Country Club, Girl Scouts of America, and Community Bible Study, along with volunteering for many other organizations.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Black, brother, Earl Glendenning, Jr., and son-in-law, Larry R. Anderson.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Terry L. Alford, Zionsville, IN and Marjorie A. Anderson, Beaver, PA; grandchildren, Heather L. Duchscher, Jared Alford, Jennifer E. (Dan) Killinger, Kenneth Alford, Timothy W. Mack, Erin L. (Matthew) Ran, and Kelley A. (Brian) Brummitt; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Friends will be received Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Beaver. A private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.
