Christie Lee Holland

Christie Lee Holland, 44, of Brighton Township, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 7, 2026.

Born on July 8, 1982, in Brighton Township, Christie was the daughter of Karin D. Karger and Charles W. Bender.

Christie was a self-employed animal caregiver, loved horses and all animals, and they loved her. She was also an avid motorcyclist.

Along with her parents she is survived by her grandmother, Marcia L. Bender; son, Cody James (Emily) McRae; grandchild, Octavia McRae and her boyfriend, Don Cheetle.

Christie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dale E. Karger, Harry “Pooch” Bender; grandmother, Catherine M. Karger.
