Cleveland W. Jones

Cleveland W. Jones, 71 of Brighton Twp, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born March 1, 1947 in Washington, PA, he was a son of the late Clifford and Clara Ehrhart Jones.  A veteran of the US Army, Cleveland had formerly worked at St., Joe Lead, Monaca and later for Geneva College for many years.  He was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ, Industry, and the American Legion Post 0580.  An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Pittsburgh Downrigger Club, and the Midland Sportsmen Club.

He is survived by his wife whom he married on June 11, 1965, Lucille Kennedy Jones, a sister, Audrey Martin of Burgettstown, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, David Jones, and two sisters, Judy Schlinski and Mary Lou Vance.

As per his wishes there will be no public visitation.  A memorial service will be held on  Wednesday September 5 ^th 2018  at 11:00am at the Oak Grove Church of Christ conducted by his pastor, Reverend Jeff Phillis.
