Clytie L. “Maria” Syck Glancy, 80, of Brighton Twp., formerly of Carrick passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born May 29, 1945 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late James Wesley and Trilby Bartley Syck. Clytie lived in Hazelwood and Carrick before moving to the Brighton Twp. An employee of Allegheny General Hospital, she worked in the gift shoppe and the Admissions Department before retiring as a receptionist for Dr. Small in the Dermatology Department. Clytie was a member of St. Norberts Catholic Church, and Full Gospel of Carnegie.

Clytie will be greatly missed by her husband, Edward L. Glancy, Jr., Rochester; daughters, Tammy M. (Patrick) Gallagher, Coraopolis and Barbara G. (Donald) Morgan, Brighton Twp.; brother, Richard (Nancy) Syck, Bushell, FL; grandchildren, Edward, Meghanne and Zachary Gallagher, and Donald and Sabrina Morgan; great-grandchildren, Austin Gallagher and Cadence Brooks. She will also be missed as a loving aunt to Melodi Zalus, Christine Teck and Marlene Torbich and loving great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra M. Syck; grandson, Patrick M. Gallagher; sister-in-law, Jeanie Eganczyk Syck and brother-in-law, Tommy L. Glancy.

Friends will be received Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences can be made at nollfuneral.com.
